Under Drivers and downloads, check if Big Sur is on the list. Then select Printers and click on your printer model. If you own a Cannon printer, go to Cannon's official page, click on Support and select Software and Drivers. I don't know if the latest driver that Canon has for this printer is 64-bit or. So I think Canon has to update the printer driver for Big Sur. I went to the apple support forums and read that if the driver for this printer was updated on 10/02/20, it could not have been tested for Big Sur, which was released later. Feedback to Apple acknowledges that many people have reported this but the reply is the OS is operating as currently designed, meaning Apple feels its Canon's problem (they only print table outlines but no text). Click on your model name for available drivers and software The current drivers for Canon printers on Apple produts have never worked with the beta of the Big Sur operating system. The following CanoScan, PIXMA, and MAXIFY models will be supported in macOS 11 Big Sur at launch.
